Autumn is one of my favorite times of year…so much good food to get into… but oh the frantic pace…!! Haha!! So much fun – but so hectic! No time to plan…and hardly any time to cook…right!? This week was the perfect week to mix in some tried and true recipes – and finally publish the recipe for a super yummy crockpot soup… So here you have it! We have a couple of celebration dinners this week so it’s a 3 meal cooking week for me…if you’re in the same boat – print out this shopping list and you’re good to go!
We’re starting with the Tuscan White Bean, Kale & Sausage Slow Cooker Soup which is perfect for Tuesday night where we are all running in different directions and it will be super convenient to have dinner ready for anyone ready to eat! Haha! 😜 The flavors in the soup pair perfectly with the bottle of Super Tuscan wine I’ve been wanting to crack open.. 🍷
Wednesday I have an errand to run near my favorite fish monger…so I thought of the delicious salmon recipe included in my Immunity Health Booster meal plan – Turmeric Crusted Salmon with Bok Choy Provencal! I love the turmeric with the fish… and it’s so good to use immunity boosting ingredients as we head into cold and flu season… Paired with a nice full bodied dry Torrones wine from Argentina is perfect for #winewednesday 😉
We’re heading out to dinner with some friends on Friday night…so the final meal of the week will be Thursday’s Steakhouse Salad a filling & easy to throw together one from my Fun with a Side of Easy… meal plan… between the girls activities with multiple pick ups & drop offs, it’s nice to have something I can make some of ahead of time 😉 Plus my husband has a late meeting so this room temperature meal is perfect for when he’s late to dinner 😜 The earthy mushrooms and mustardy vinaigrette pair perfectly with an acidic-ly structured Malbec wine 🍷….mmmmmm!!
